For this reason, I have created for you a list of 10 interesting accommodation places in the Tatras. They are all of a good standard and in a good location, which is a convenient base for trips to the mountains. Thanks to the list below, I hope it will be easier for you to decide where to sleep in the Tatra Mountains.

1. Apartamenty i Pokoje “U Stopków” – Biały Dunajec

The first of the budget options for accommodation in the Tatras is Apartamenty i Pokoje “U Stopków”, located in the village of Leszczyny next to Biały Dunajec, 15 km from Zakopane.

The apartments additionally have a kitchen with a microwave, fridge and stovetop. There is a common room with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal, where you can prepare your own meals.

The property has a sauna, private parking and a playground for children, and barbecue facilities are available in the garden.

2. Willa U GAŁÓW – Poronin

Willa U GAŁÓW is located in Poronin, 17 km from Zakopane. Nearby there are shops and restaurants, as well as the ski slopes, and there is a ski lift 200 meters away.

The rooms at the property are decorated in a highlander, yet modern style. A delicious breakfast buffet is served every morning in the Villa, and in the restaurant, you will eat a homemade dinner. The property includes a garden, private parking and a playground for children.

3. Pokoje Widokowe Sywarne -Kościelisko

Pokoje Widokowe Sywarne are located in Kościelisko and is a great base for nearby trails. The guest house is 3.7 km from the Mrozna Cave and the Kościelisko Valley. The Szymoszkowa ski lift is 3 km away, and the nearest ski lift is Salamandra – Kościelisko, only 900 meters from the guest house.

All rooms in the building are equipped with a TV, bed linen and towels, and for shared use there is an equipped kitchen, parking and garden. A delicious breakfast is included in the room rate.

4. Czarne jagody – Kościelisko

Czarne jagody is also located in Kościelisko, just over a kilometer from the Kościeliska Valley, right next to the trail. It will take you about 15 minutes to get to the Valley. A shop is a 3-minute walk from the property.

Guests have access to shared bathrooms, a shared living room, a kitchen (equipped with a stove, microwave, slicer, oven, and even a fryer) and a garden, while the rooms themselves have a TV and a refrigerator. Pets are also welcome guests.

5. Willa Anna – Kościelisko

The Willa Anna guesthouse is another accommodation facility located in Kościelisko, 700 m from the Chotarz ski lift and 3.1 km from the Szymoszkowa ski lift, 4.3 km from Gubałówka and 7 km from the Chochołowskie Thermal Baths. The Center of Tradition and Tourism, which organizes workshops and exhibitions of folk art, is 20 meters away.

There are shops, a pastry shop, taverns and restaurants in the area. Each room and cottage has a TV, a shared kitchen with a dining area, a refrigerator and kitchenware, a common living room and a terrace, which is a great place to relax, especially on warm days. A ski storage room and private parking are available on site. Guests can also use the garden with a fireplace and barbecue facilities.

6. Pokoje Gościnne Benita – Zakopane

Pokoje Gościnne Benita are located in the upper part of Zakopane, 2.3 km from the Gubałówka ski station and 500 meters from such ski lifts as Nosal – Bystre Lift 1, 2, 3 and 4, Krzesełkowy Lift 1 and Żółwik. It will take you about 15-20 minutes to walk to the city centre and to the mountains.

The area has numerous shops, dining options, a swimming pool, gym and tennis court. Here you can use the grill (and baked sausages in such natural circumstances taste twice as good!). You can prepare your own meals in the shared kitchen, and ironing facilities, parking, lounge and luggage storage are available for shared use by all guests.

7. Willa Jaszczurówka 26 – Zakopane

Willa Jaszczurówka 26 is located in Zakopane, close to the trails and ski lifts: Żółwik, Krzesełkowy and Nosal-Bystre. The famous ski jump – Wielka Krokiew and the Zakopane aquapark are located just over 3 km from the facility.

There are rooms with access to a shared lounge, kitchen, children’s playground, parking lot and garden. Some of the options have a private bathroom, some – a shared bathroom. Some of the rooms also have their own balcony overlooking the mountains.

8. Biały Dworek – Zakopane

Biały Dworek is also located in Zakopane, 3.5 km from the famous Krupówki Street, 2 km from Wielka Krokiew and 700 meters from the Nosal ski lift. 200 meters from the manor house there is a restaurant and cafe.

The guesthouse has rooms equipped with a bathroom, electric kettle and fridge, most of them also have a balcony. The property has a sauna that can be used at an additional cost. There is also a children’s playroom, locked parking and barbecue facilities. Breakfast is served at the property and there is even a bar.

9. Willa ZAKObystra – Zakopane

Willa ZAKObystra is another cheap accommodation facility located in Zakopane, close to the Zakopane Aqua Park and Gubałówka by the Bystra stream.

The rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, TV and public Wi-Fi. You will be a 15-minute walk from Krupówki or the train station. There are several restaurants, and shops in the area – convenient and close to everything.
